A little bit of ranting!

Heeeeey Strangers,

I am the one who is been all M.I.A, sorry about that, a lot has been going on in my life at the moment but all of the things that have been happening are all positive :) Get ready for a long  post y'all, hope you carry something out of it.

I have started dating again yaaaaay, it's been a while since i did the whole dating thing, to be honest it's quite an interesting and fun experience am planning on making the best out of it. The constant texting, the long conversations over the phone, lunch dates, movie dates...what's not to love?? :) This past couple of weeks my church Mavuno, have been talking about an interesting sermon series called FINDERS KEEPERS 2 let me share with y'all key points that stood out in the series, Finders Keepers was about  learning from God's word about how to find and keep the love that lasts a lifetime. We began with 'The Morning After', where we learnt that relationships today are a big mess because as a result of our rebellion against God, women tend to manipulate while men tend to dominate. The 2nd one was 'Tujuane', where that we are in a society that often blurs the lines, but God has created clear differences between men and women and learnt that before you can enjoy your sexuality, you need to know your identity. The one that stood out for me was 'What men wish women new', this one was quite insightful and kinda made me understand guys better, and it was from a guy's perspective. For starters i got to know guys have needs too, as much as us women want love, care, affirmation and loyalty just to name but a few, guys also want Respect, simple girls, love. The thing that really hit close to home was that 'Men Can't Read Our Minds' hahaha when it comes to us women we want guys to know what a simple OK or am fine means ...those are all code words for am not OK and am not fine but being guys they honestly can't know that unless we really tell them how we feel or what is going through our minds. We need to establish a relationship whereby we can openly talk about how we feel...Communication is key!! The last thing was that  'Ladies we cannot FIX A MAN'- You like the guy but there things you don't approve of, like he hangs out with the wrong type of friends, he's too passive, he drinks a little too much or he's overly influenced by his mom. We figure, 'you know what, once I marry him, I can fix these imperfections'. You take him on as a project. IT DOESN'T WORK!! We should learn to take the good with the bad and make it work, plain and simple. That right there is the truth.com!!

Tribal Print part 2

Hey People, hope you all had an awesome Sunday. The weather today was crazy hot so i opted for this tribal print top I got from one of my thrift shopping escapades at 250ksh, and I paired it with this hot pink skirt that I also got at 200ksh...then the best part of the outfit was my sneaker wedges. I am so in love with this sneaker wedges, I was so happy that I got them at such a bargain for as low as 900 kshs.

Am not such into pink that much but somehow this outfit turned out just great. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
I believe in getting unique pieces to give your outfit that spark.
Having an amazing week :)

Tribal Print and Leopard Print

Hey people, apologies for my silence, it has been a busy couple of months with work and my crazy schedule but I'm officially back!!! Yaaaaay. Hopefully y'all will be seeing frequent posts from me.
My friends have been on my case to showcase my outfits and my personal style but i was  abit reluctant because am sort of a private person but thinking about it some more i thought that i have nothing to loose, plus I may inspire someone of which am all for it. I believe in dressing to what suits your body, and what your comfortable in. The more comfortable someone is in the outfit they wear, the more confidence the exude. Confidence is key y'all :)
My inspiration for each outfit I wear comes from my surroundings, that would be like....... street style and basically what I see from day to day. I believe in having your own style rather than imitating someone else's. By no means am I an expert in fashion, but i will be telling y''all tips that work for me and hopefully help in the process. This is my outfit for Friday, I wore a tribal print top and a high-low skirt with leopard print wedge booties all thrifted.Thrift shopping is insanely addictive but trust you are guaranteed unique and affordable clothes and you won't have to rob a bank to look stylish. How you pair your clothes also determine how the whole outfit will turn out.
The top I got it from a shop at bus station at 100ksh, i cannot tell you how i love this top, the tribal print is one of those items you find and can't get enough of. The high-low skirt i also got it from the same place at 600ksh. I accessorized the outfit with my multi- colored bracelets just to spice up the outfit some more. I also added a flower on the right side of my hair to bring out the girly look.
This look can be worn to various places, like for a date with le'boyfriend during the day, brunch with the girls and also for a wedding. I on the other hand wore this to the office.

This one of my favorite outfits thus far. Hope you liked the outfit :)
I welcome any ideas and thoughts for the outfit or anything in general.

Rebirth!!!

Hey Beautiful people :)
It's been a minute ey?? Hope everyone had an amazing New years. You might be wondering where the heck i went, where to start, hmm... Last year was a really hectic year for me with school and work. Juggling the two was alot for me that's why blogging had taken a back bunner in my life, but guess what AM BACK!! Excited to take blogging to a whole new level and introduce y'all to my life. This is going to be a great year.

I rarely make resolutions because by February they all go out the window, you feel me? So this year it was kind of a light bulb moment where i actually made resolutions (Fingers Crossed i keep them though) and am actually stocked about seeing them all through. On the top of my resolutions this year was to get back to blogging, yaaay guess that's done *woohoo*, the second one was to get a tattoo at first was scared about going through with it because i don't like needles but funny thing as the tattoo guy (Mirugi of Natural Stripes) started on it it wasn't that bad believe it or not. If you ever want to get a tattoo that's the place you should go! He is one creative guy. Am actually thinking of getting a second one after the one i have heals that is after a month and a half.

My tattoo is symbolic and it is meant to be an inspiration to me and others. It has the infinity symbol with the words Stay Strong, it should be a reminder that no matter what we have to go through we should always stay strong.

My third resolution would be travel more this year. We have an amazing places here in Kenya to visit.

This year i want to shake things up and live life to the fullest. I won't rumble alot in this post. Expect more from me this year, Fashion wise, Natural hair regime and experience and anything else that catches my eye. Sit back, relax and join me on the experience.

I welcome any thoughts or comments you may have :)
